Algier-Tamanrasset

Dear travellers!

Can anyone tell me how many days it takes to drive from Algier to Assekrem/Tamanrasset, while driving 7 to 8hrs per day in a car?
As I heard having a guide with you is mandatory.

Thank you very much.

Romain

You could do it in 4 days: Ghardaia, In Salah, desert, Tam. Once past Blida/Medea you are on your way, once past Laghouat less checkpoints.
Tam to Ask is about 3-4 hours depending on your suspension.

bonne route
