Across the Caspian Sea?
Hi,
SHORT VERSION Anyone have any ideas about taking a Land Rover 110 across the Caspian Sea between Azer and Kazak? Or even info to Turkmenistan would be useful.. LONG VERSION I am planning to travel to Mongolia, because of various reasons, I will head up there from Turkey. After Mongolia it will most likely be down to the Indian Sub Continent. I had thought of Turkey, Georgia, Azerbaijan and across the Caspian Sea to get to Central Asia. I'm fairly sure I can get to Turkmenistan (Turkmenbashi) with a car ferry, but would prefer to get further north into Kazakstan to save of visa's and because I will come back through that Uzeb/Turk later and things like Visa are expensive there etc Any ideas of car ferries (have a Land Rover 110) across the Caspian to Kazakhstan anyone?
