The same way to do it any place else. Ride long days, camp free if you can find it, make your food your self, ride slow. See if you can get other hubbers to put you up for the night (and advriders and CouchSurfing - Participate in Creating a Better World, One Couch At A Time may help as well) using a cheap low cc bike will help as well. You will find you can travil vary cheapley, its a skill and theres a lerning curve to it do it neer your home now will pay off.

Keeping the cost down

With the increase in the cost of fuel it now makes getting across Europe very expensive, unless you travel at a snails pace , sleep in a ditch , and eat
survival rations, so you might want to check out DB Autozug , this is the train system that takes cars , bikes ect across Europe while you sleep, check out the routes for yourself and cost it out, also bear in mind that in one night on the train you will cover a distance that will take you two hard days riding. And not to mention the awfull weather that Northern Europe seems to have now.
Hope this helps.

Richard.

Will let you know

I am travelling from Antalya to UK starting tomorrow. Current plan is Turkey, Bulgaria, Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Austria, Italy, Germany, France, UK. However I have planned stays at a few "biker" contacts. For example tomorrow night I am staying at a Adventure Rider Forum member's moto camp

I will post a ride report once finished. Petrol costs is likely to be the biggest expense as I will not spend lots on extra activities as I have a 4 day riding time to complete.:thumbup1:
