8300km in Marocco, sort of fact-file.

Hi all,

Bit later then expected, but I finally managed to get a report together on my trip to Marocco (after the website). It's a bit dry text and based on personal experiences (things might have changed or change in the future) but hey for a first timer...
Info included: bike, route, way of transport to Marocco, places to stay, go's and no go's, ...

Just drop me an email and I can mail you a word doc or and HTLM file.

Any tips to improve the 'keeping track of info while travelling' are also welcome. Wonna do a better job on this next time.

Hi Darkenbad,
I'll mail you the info right away. If you have any more questions or remarks about the info feel free to drop me a mail.

OOOOOOOPS, just noticed that I can't see your email adress... Makes it a bit hard to mail the files to you. So if you can email me you adress if you don't want to put it in public. I'll mail you the files as soon as I have your adress.

Pieter,
apologies for not replying sooner. I don't want to put my E-mail address on an open site, so I may have to forego your kind offer.

Thanks for your time any way.

Darkenbad,

If there is one site where your emailadress is safe then it is this one.
Untill now (1 year) no misuse of it and not expecting it.
You are blocking yourself out of a lot of great info!!!

It's a discussion (as far as there is one) for an other topic. But I suggest you contact the boss himself Grant to get some info on how they protect your email adress.

Guess you didn't read the FAQ files with do / do not stuff.
When you register your email adress is linked to your profile. If somebody wants to send you and email he has to go by your 'profile' where he can then find your email. By putting your email adress simply in a message as you did you are exposing yourself to 'search-bots' that go through websites looking for adresses.

I propose you take it of the message and check the FAQ files about the bulletin board. I copied your email adres, as soon as I can I'll send your the files. (at work now)

Grant if you read this maybe you can put the link about the email-adress stuff here for Darkenbad.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
