4 - 5 Weeks Summer 2011, Ideas Please
 

Hi All,

I am already wondering what to do next summer... I think my Mrs and I can get 4 possibly 5 weeks in the summer off. It will be three of us, the nipper, Mrs W and I.

We have been talking about heading towards the Black Sea, turning right towards Turkey, right at Istanbul to Greece, then right up thru Albania, Macedonia etc, etc.

We will be travelling in the Land Rover so travelling time and speed is limited per day for noise / comfort. It is also limited due to the nipper for boredom reasons. We like to stop at least a couple of nights in each place also.

Last summer we got down to Slovakia, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovenia etc. Which was fantastic. Having got as far as the Ukraine border in August I really fancied going further, but could not due to time. So the Mrs used the hand cuffs to lock me to the bullbars!

What would you do for that period of time in August? Do you think it is too much?

Just after some ideas really.
