Utah, Nevada & Oregon two-week ride (with a crash!)
 

In June, we took two weeks off to ride around Utah, Nevada & Oregon. 2989 miles / 4810.329 kilometres. The ride included:
Cleveland-Lloyd Dinosaur Quarry (about five miles of dirt and gravel to the quarry - great visitor's center!)
Moab
Arches National Park
Canyonlands National Park, including Potash Road
Capitol Reef National Park (the most under-rated national park)
Goblin Valley - Utah State Park
Anasazi State Park Museum
Bryce Canyon National Park
Great Basin National Park
camping on BLM land in Nevada
Sheldon National Wildlife Refuge (what a road!)
and... a crash! My first. I'm okay, and so is the bike, but Shafer Switchbacks - NEVER AGAIN.
