Caught By The Wolves In Phoenix

Couldn't believe it, was out on a ride around Phoenix, was riding down the road minding my own business ..... the DR swerved all by itself into a back street and turned into a carpark.

Not sure what to do I went into the shop..... turns out it was Zen Motocycle ZEN MOTO: Mechanical Piece of Mind

So with Dillons help he sorted us out for luggage for Maya

1 x Wolfman Large Duffle

2 x Wolfman Tank Panniers

1 x Wolfman Tank bag

Also picked up screen, bars and front guard so came away with everything we needed.

So with our new setup on Maya we are running full Wolfman soft luggage setup complete.

These are them.

Maya comes with the two Wolfman Expedition rear panniers and a Giant Loop Coyote bag, we won't be using the Giant Loop Coyote Bag so that will be up for sale.

Can't speak highly enough dealing with Dillon at Zen, free plug for a good man.

ZEN MOTO: Mechanical Piece of Mind

info@zenmotostore.com

Ph 480 600 2978

GIve him a call or email as he can sort you out for pretty much anything.

Now we just need Maya to turn up !!!!:clap

Maya, a strong lady, based in Mexico and the Mayan people.

Our turning point of our trip was in Mexico thus we are now riding a strong lady (cos I don't ride boys) .

Maya arrived yesterday!

Just got a call from the trucking company delivering Maya, the truck shat itself 2 miles from where we are

Waiting on another call to either pick her up or they may be getting another truck ... as Bevan said, if we didn't have bad luck we wouldn't have any luck at all

J u s t w a n t t o g e t h e r h e r e..........

She finally arrived ......sort of, she got within 2 miles of here then the truck shat itself and was towed 4o miles away :cry

So we chased across town to get her .... finally tracked her down.

Good clean tomorrow and sort out the stuff we do and don't wan't.

Crammed in

Getting freed

She is tall!!!

Off we go

Bit of cheek off dancing going on set up at full height!!

So we have her home, she needs a good bath to tomorrow will be full TLC day.

F i n a l l y we can start to go forward :clap

Heya Grif & Lisa, it is only about 12 -14 deg C here in Phoenix ... still a bit warmer than you though, dropping to 2 degs at night.

Good you bought Sammy in, you don't want her radiator to freeze eh

That lovely KTM has a wee guts ache and is off to the shop tomorrow hopefully for only minor surgery but we won't know until the doctor opens her up ... not good

Heya Sara

At this rate we won't be out of Phoenix until this time next week so we are miles behind, we got taken for a ride on the bike we bought so many hours of repairs and a fair stack of money.

Not good at all, from a fello ADVer as well, we were ripped.

Hello Andi and Ellen.
I've been reading your entire ride report in advrider and about your bad luck with the KTM and the complete mess it's in. I can't believe a inmate would sell off a bike with such problems while advertising it as if it were in pristine condition. I hope you guys get it sorted out with the lease amount of cash outlay. And to you Ellen, sorry to read of your get-off in Mexico. At least you gave it your all. Tossing in the towel and going 2-up is a smart choice as the road ahead through Mexico and South America is dicey and could be more challenging to a novice rider.

Your Artic adventure was good reading as one day I hope to do the same.
