Well I'm back from a short visit to The Netherlands, My first HU attempt.

Arrived on May 3 in Holland. Ready to go on a 3 day road trip to Luxemburg. Arrived at my brothers place Thursday morning to a Yamaha XJ-6 Diversion. He arranged this for me beforehand. So ready to go.
All 4 of us, brother and 2 nephews. Who by the way just passed their motorbike-license exams a month earlier.

...to a Gas station, filling up. As you can see they are paying a bit more than us in Canada. Like $2.35 a liter



waiting in Antwerp for lost Nephew. We "filtered" (lane Split) through a traffic jam and he stayed a bit behind and.... lost us in traffic. Most cars flew by us at 140km.

heading home on a warm day 84 f....speed is needed to cool off.





lane-splitting (filtering in the UK) nice when your not used to it (in Canada)....where by the way we have space to do this...are you listening Harper :P



getting back to the cute dutch towns.





dropping off the rental bike at the shop....bustling with people and bikes. Also the service dept was busy at Saturday 4:00 pm. Here the canadian dealers can learn something too.



Thanks for viewing. Not that this was a "real" adventure...BUT it's a start to something bigger.

although, I confess I spotted that wasn't as appealing.... do hope it was a typo.... €166.9 a litre for petrol and €135.9 for diesel...

More like 230.726 CAD and 187.875 CAD !!!!!

Gas price was 166.9 (with 8.00 Euro-cents off per liter discount).
That would be 174.9 Euro = $ 241.8 Can. (US $ 247.6)

that's why they "all" drive diesel. and small cars.
