Sela Pass, India

Hi, All. I have been riding a Honda 125 round India for the past six months (77th birthday in Goa), and have survived 15000 kilometers through India's traffic - no mean achievement!
As a last Hurrah, I rode over the Sela Pass to Tawang in Arunachal (North East States) last week, 13700 feet altitude. What did that teach me? That I am no longer a teenager!
I hear frequently from travelers passing through Rio Grande, Tierra del Fuego, that Graciela has the Little Grandfather's wheelchair up on the wall in the bar. My five-year-old grandson calls me Grandpa Oops. However I came through India unscathed and had a great time and, mostly, a great ride.
Cheers and look forward to seeing you all at Ripley, drink a few s,
simon

You have my respect! I hope I'm still riding (and travelling) at your age. I'll happily buy you a pint at Ripley. Paul

Thanks and look forward to it. Right now I could drink a gallon. 44 degrees! Riding tomorrow morning with a bunch of Delhi bikers at 5:30 a.m. Too hot later. Businessmen rather than Hells Angels.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
