Pakistan to Europe

Its been bit of a damper. The trip date has been pushed back and it looks more like early/mid May. Major set back delay in arrival of my steady steed G650GS from Chicago. The forwarders are just taking too long. Most things are sorted except the carnets can only be done once the bike gets to Pakistan. I still need some kind of advice on what night stops to make in Iran on the outbound leg. My plan is Zahedan, Yazd, Esfahan, Urmia. Any second opinions? I will finalise the Turkish itinerary soon and post it for review.
Thanks

Crossed into south east Turkey a week ago and there was snow on the high peaks but not the road.Cold early mornings and at night but as soon a you drop below 1000ft it's warm.
Cross at the Serow border, the road to Van is amazing.

Thanks Pete
I hope you and Caf have a safe ride back. My schedule is pushed back because of delays with Pakistan customs to clear my bike.

Hi
I am at the early stages of planning to ride back from India (or Nepal) to Europe. Problem is, I am on my own and parts fo the trip seem pretty hairy. Would love to find a companion(s). When are you thinking of going? For me it owuld be around April/May time. Cheers.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
