. The trip date has been pushed back and it looks more like early/mid May. Major set back delay in arrival of my steady steed G650GS from Chicago. The forwarders are just taking too long. Most things are sorted except the carnets can only be done once the bike gets to Pakistan. I still need some kind of advice on what night stops to make in Iran on the outbound leg. My plan is Zahedan, Yazd, Esfahan, Urmia. Any second opinions? I will finalise the Turkish itinerary soon and post it for review.
. The bike likely to be in Lahore this week. April 20th looks a possibility. The Turkish leg finalised.Keziltiepe, Konya, Izmir and Istanbul. Carnets still pending. Any info on the weather conditions temperatures etc enroute especially South and Eastern part of Turkey in early May will hlep. Thanks.
