Northern Mexico and the dead end.

So I arrived in Mexico a few days ago and headed straight for Neuvo Casas Grandas. The ride from Nogales was a mix of very straight roads and very twisty ones. It was nice, by the time my arms were aching from the twistys it straightened up and by the time my brain was aching from the straights it got twisty again. Only problem was the wind towards the end of the ride but I think I am used to it now.

Once in NCG I decided to head out to Cuevo De La Olla which is an old cave settlement in the mountains.

The ride was mostly off road with a fully loaded bike. I intended to carry on past Olla but the road was out and had to double back all the way to the beginning. Such is life.

below is a video of some of the ride:

After doubling back I got lost one last time before finding the main road to Madera. After that it was a drag all the way into town up until the sun started to set. Spent some time howling at the sunset inside my helmet where no-one could hear me. Settled in Madera now for a day or two. I want to get my side stand extended by about 3cms.
