Smile Goa Yuk!

Hi to all. I've ridden 4000 Ks so far. Bike is great and no falls yet (touching wood). Road conditions far better than much of the stuff I rode in Hispanic America. I'm here in Goa to celebrate my 77th birthday. Last time I was here, I was celebrating my 37th. Goa has changed - not for the better. However anyone out there free and in Goa on the 11th, and would like to drain a jug or six, message me. Otherwise see you at the Derby meet. Heading down to Cochin next. Cheers to all...

Goa is / has gone to the wall - too much Russian cash and they are chasing the tourist pound / dollar / rouble .
Have been travelling there for last 15 years and boy has it changed for the worse - love the people still but Fort Cochin is a prime example . Waterways getting choked with vegetation and parts of it just used to dump plastic bottles - its a crying shame Kerala is getting there as well - Varkala beach looks like a blxxdy landfill site not the beautiful cliffs that were there a few years ago . Still an amazing country though

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
