After having fun in the Sand we head towards the High Atlas area. We head to Bikers Home Bikershome Offroad Centre, It's a B&B style home with a free garage to use if you stay. Run by a very funny Dutch guy Peter.
He loved our bikes and offered us good money for all three TTR's and flights home. Was very tempting but we all wanted to carry on with our trip. I believe he has now bought some TTR's and is running tours on them.
Peter orders us some engine oil for all the TTR's and fork seals for one. Also we had to strip the carbs out of one as it somehow managed to take in some sand.
During the night a guy arrives on a highly modified bmw. His friends xt has snapped a chain, Peter sells him a chain and he goes off again into the night.

Bog shower at a Gite.

Peters place.

Lee split is leg open on the easiest offroad stretch, typical.

We had enough stuff in our firstaid kit to deal with it.

As a TTR owner myself, am very envious. How did you get to Morocco? Drive down through Spain and boat it over??

I was hoping that I could see bigger pics, as the link on them does not work.

Cheers

You're right not all seem to work. Try going straight to the album ...

Yes I went through Spain to Almeria to Nador. On the return I did Melila to Malaga.
TTR is a fantastic bike I really love mine now.

Excellent photos.

Your route looks exactly like something I'd want to do albeit on four wheels rather than 2 (sorry!), by any chance would you have some sort of route guide or map that you've saved of your route so I can see exactly where you been and I might want to use some of the routes you've taken.

Many thanks for sharing!

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
