100.000km around Americas by an old VESPA

ciao to everybody!!
I'm travelling around the American continent by a VESPA of 40years old! I'm crazy, but I saw I m not alone here eeheheh!!
I started in may in NYC and I arrived to DeadHorse (alaska)...it was not simple for my small, small wheels the Dalton hwy... but my Vespa was the first Vespa to arrive to the top of continent, I'm proud about it!
now I'm arrived in Venezuela (40.000km done). the plan is to arrive in Patagonia and come back to NYC (about 100.000km)...
I don't know when I'll finish...my speed it s a little bit more than a bike (70km/h)... but I'll finish!!I want to close the circle around this beautiful continent!!!!
If you want watch some pictures here s my blog:
Vespanda

I hope to meet someone of you on the rest of my road!!!
good gas to everybody!

Impressive

Hi Ilario, it`s really impressive that you are covering all that distance on your vespa especially due to the load you must be carrying and the road conditions along your way. Godd to know you have done great so far. Have plenty of fun. Nice pictures.

Hi Vespanda,

I suggest if you need to find a place to stay on the cheap get hooked up with the couch surf site: CouchSurfing - Participate in Creating a Better World, One Couch At A Time

Good luck with the rest of your trip.. I'm following your blog.

If you come near the Canadian West coast give me a call.

Trevor

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
