10 Wonders (targets) Of The World For Riders

I have an idea and friendly offer for international adventure riders.Lets decide the 10 wonders of the world for riders together. Why I think this is a good idea:

1-As we are getting out of winter sleep, this will be much helpful to those who are planning trips.

2-Trips and destinations will have some meanings.

3-We will feel the honour of victory we have gained after conquering that target against our blood, sweat and tears.

4-We can be more stronger to force the authorities and governments by mails so that formalities may be less and visa dates longer and multiple while entering problem countries by motocycles.

5-One step further, a certificate or diploma may be organised by HU after its prooved by the rider with photos taken in front of a famous place at that destination. This can be called a X Starred (Conqueror)Rider Certificate if each destination will give you one star.

6-Generally riders travel like modern lonely cowboys (on machines of technology instead of horses) ,compare machines and less friendly with other riders.(excluding some masters)This is my personal idea after more than 30 years experience in international tourism. So new subjects will be in to talk about such as stars, countries, problems, more interesting-exciting parts of the targets, etc.besides talking machines, women, watching TV.,staying in internet prison or emptying bottles. This will make riders close friends and develope the peace worldwide.
We must talk to point out the problems and solve.(thats what we need most)

Even I haven't been to half of them, for me 10 WONDERS OF THE WORLD FOR RIDERS are:

1-Karakurum Highway
2-Alaska Highway
3-Road of Bones M56
4-Most south point of Africa.(There is a monument separating 2 oceans!!!!)
5-Panama Canal
6-Golden Temple India (Free food and place to sleep available)
7-Saharas
8-Pyramides (Egypt)
9-Ands
10-Bosphorus Bridge İstanbul (The fastest pass between 2 continents)

Here are some interesting photos of the targets. Why dont we conquer some this year.

Beat wishes and good luck.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
