Should you happen to find yourself with a broken sub frame or the like try
Torneria Mechanica de Ernesto Hamada at Suipacha 282, San Miguel de Tucuman, also welds aluminium and carries out engine case repairs. Helpful and not costly. Welded sub-frame and exhuast in an afternoon.

Perhaps a dumb question on my part Fritz, but could you include the country in the address to this welding shop? For all I know, not having your whereabouts and not having done an atlas search yet it could be in Guatemala, Chile or.....?????
I am not in need of such emergency services , but I can imagine knowing all the details may be of urgent importance to someone else.
