In case you need repairs at the end of the world I recommend this guy. He is a motocross rider (check out all the trophies) and authorized Honda repair.

I`m sorry but, I got a different oppinion about this workshop. As I wrote already on the Southamerica Forum:
Pablos Motos is NOT the best workshop in town, and he charges 500 Pesos for everything.
He knows quite well, that desperaired tourists need him.
I had a new spring fixed at my rear suspension at his workshop. Another traveller, who is a mechanik told me it`s bungling...
He carges 70 Pesos for changing a rear tyre, that`s more than in Germany!
I don`t want to warn you expressly, but be careful!!!
Don`t make the same mistake I did!
I absolutely not recomend this workshop.

Fair enough, but where is there anyone else in Ushuaia.
He worked two hours on my bike doing electrical work and charged me 300. I thought that was expensive, but it wasn't 500.

In my view he charges a much higher rate than is reasonable for gringos. What ever you do get a firm quote up front.
He charged me 85 pesos to swap a tire, which is much higher than one would pay at a gomeria or most other bike shops in Argentina.

Let's see... you are traveling to the end of a major continent thru a town that most people have no idea where in the heck is. You don't know how or don't want to change your own tire. The only place in town charges money to do work on your bike? If any one is headed thru montana I will be glad to show you how to change your own tires for free. I also am making my living working on motorcyles and charge $45.00 US to mount and balance a tire.

I know how to change a tire, but thanks for your offer. I simply did not want to because it is cold here, the tire bead had been misshapen which makes it more difficult and the tire itself was very cold. He has a heated shop with tools, but in the end, I would have been better off using a gomeria.
OTH, my post used language that was too strong and was perhaps a little unfair, but I stand by my assertion that I was charged an inflated price simply because I was foreigner. That does become a little frustrating down here. And certainly compared to the excellent and fair work provided by Gonzalo at Motoescar in Punta Arenas, Chile, I would recommend that other seek non critical service there or perhaps in Rio Gallegos.

Hi
for what it is worth i tried to find his place on Juan Peron and couldnt see it. There is a place called Mission Motos but that was closed.
The guys in a car repair place did the tyre for me as long as i took the wheel off and on. 30 pesos tip to the guy who did the tyre.

Well.... I just left his shop and I am not impressed. He quotede 25 pesos to swap the tire which I took it off myself, and the only reason I didn't do myself was so he would balance the tire. Well... Just to find out that he doesn't even after he told me that he would, but doesn't have the tools. Meanwhile I watched him scratch the hell out my rim using one tire iron and one screw driver because his kid lost the other one. I told him that I had the tolls and ran to the bike but when I got back, he had continued and damage all done. Toake things better he hits the rear rotor with metal hammer da
Damaging it. Not done yet, his muscle employee with little brain drops the axel in the sand and try to put there, I stopped him and cleaned that up and greased it again. Still didn't stop there, when went to pay him, the 25 pesos quoted became 150 pesos! He also quoted me 120 usd to do a oil change, I asked if on included oil and filter, but it was only labor. So no, I do NOT recommend this guy, maybe to fix my landowner, if I was in totally desparete!
