Turkey - Izmir, BMW HELP/Service

I would just like to let you know about some great service in Izmir.
i had my bike shipped with others from Australia (with GET ROUTED) to Izmir when the bike was unloaded the battery was completely dead - i had just replaced it for this very reason - anyway after pushing it along the wharf -with some help- Get Routed's "fixers" were on the phone and in minutes directions to a shop down some back road were given. as it turned out it was only another 3km push past all the other guys at the servo who's bikes had started ( down the road past other shops this gleaming shop glass floor to ceiling with bemmers, and others in the window, guided round the back, well what a surprise tiled workshop floor, tools all hung in order above workshop benches. the shop had a few gs's in there, any way to cut the story short my bike was diagnosed and a new battery fitted - lots of things going through my mind having just fitted a new battery-the mechanic took the bike out for a test ride came back plugged in a box !! showing me throttle imbalance, adjustment made job done.
along with this problem my mate had paperwork issues so i asked if he would store my bike for a week till replacements were DHL'd from AUS, no problem at all !! of we went by car for a week touring around.

so i guess i had better tell you where to find them ???
the business is called and you will find them at

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
