Flitwick Motorcycles (yamaha) Excellent Service!!!

I emailed Flitwick Motorcycles, Bedfordshire UK – Triumph and Yamaha Motorcycle dealers and asked for a quote for a long list of parts for my 1989 2kf XT600.
Mark Freeman, parts person extraordinaire, emailed me a parts .pdf for my bike ( first the suspension, then when asked THE WHOLE BIKE!!) and asked me to clarify which parts. This I did by Item number rather than part number ( its easier for me that way) and back came a quote by email. I duly ordered the Parts as the price, including the shipping to Spain, was cheaper than I can buy them here.

I can not praise Mark enough, he was patient, understanding and extremeley helpful, even the fact I wanted the parts shipping abroed was not too much trouble.

Salute outstanding dealers

Hi Martynbiker!

I've just discovered this promising site (via Google news trawler services) because your posting about Flitwick was hauled into my Inbox. I'd like to endorse your well deserved praises for Flitwick. I approached them for the first time for a technical hand and subsequent source of spares for my Royal Star, last year.

In particular, Wayne and Carole at Flitwick were outstandingly helpful and as with you, they went out of the way to provide me with advice and tec' gen.

I too live outside of the UK, in a country where service and competitive pricing are not everyday watchwords (Francehttp://www.horizonsunlimited.com/hubb/images/smilies/sad.gif) and so I prefer to pay the additional carriage penalties in return for willing attention of outstanding quality. http://www.horizonsunlimited.com/hub...s/thumbup1.gif

I'm off to explore this exciting new site.

Happy biking!

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
