110 Defender R380 Gearbox
All,
I thought I'd share with you a recommendation. I've got no affiliation with them but had excellent service from them, and when it came down to price they were the cheapest by quite a long way. My 110 TD5 Defender broke down in Northern France and the gearbox was terminal, it got shipped back to the UK and after shopping around LR wanted the best part of £4k to supply and fit a new box.. in the end Ashcroft Transmissions in Dunstable did it for just over 1400 quid www.ashcroft-transmissions.co.uk/ Service was excellent, and done and dusted in a day... Highly recommended. PB.
