Tires in Central America (KLR650)

Hi guys , I am getting ready for my trip to central America(10000 miles), I run TKC80 they are great but do not last very long , is it fairly easy to get good tires in Central America or should should I carry a set on the bike .

The Conti's aren't available here, but Pirelli MT21's are. And they are reasonable, around $80 a pair.
Personaly, I would run more of a street tire for the run thru the States and Mexico and buy some Knobbies here.
I see from your profile that you have been here before. But just a reminder, we are into the rainy season now, and it promises to be a wet one.

I can't P.M., not enough posts.
A better question than "How will the weather be in July" might be, "how will the roads be in July?". Too early to tell, ping me in a month.
Sure, I would enjoy having a beer with you. I live in the North Western part of Costa Rica. My phone#'s are in another post here.
