Bike Shop La Paz

Had a short in my wiring thanks to a shop in San Diego. The fuse for my front and rear lights was shorting out. Not sure how long it took to find but they had it for almost 24 hours and the short ended up being under my gas tank so obviously that also had to be removed. The cost was 320 pesos. One of the front bulbs was also burnt out, probably because of the short. They did not have the bulb in stock but Armando offered to replace it for no extra charge. I just had to go a few blocks to the local auto parts store. Great, friendly service for a reasonable price. So far Yamaha Mexico rocks even though I have a KLR. Thanks to Armando, the mechanic and the lovely Guadalupe who knows a little English.

I wanted to update this since I had another issue with my bike, again due to the poor quality of work from a motorcycle shop in San Diego. Once again Armando was fantastic. He is a great mechanic and I only wish the major issue I had happened in La Paz, Mexico and not north of the border.
