Trefco BMW Motorcycles in Cape Town (Bellville) are great for helping travellers. A family run business owned by a grumpy character named Don.
S33 53.442 E18 37.880 John Carr is the salesperson and glue of the company. Everyone talks to John when they enter the premises. He treats everyone with a familiarity that makes you feel right at home. The rest of the crew are great and the mechanics really know their stuff and will even let you watch them work if you ask nicely. They have fought BMW South Africa on my behalf and gone the extra mile to make me happy. There are many gracious comments on forums everywhere about Trefco. They are BMW dealers but I have seen a japanese bike in their workshop on occasion. Simon and Lisa www.2ridetheworld.com recommends them and so do I!
