Web gallery software for Mac?

I have about 80,000 photos - so probably a couple of hundred are interesting to others, so I thought I'd whack them on the web.

I have:

Simpleviewer Pro
Piwigo if I want on my website
Photoshop export options

Any suggestions for good, easy, professional software/ways to create photos online with a Mac?

Lightroom have some web gallery options, there is also jAlbum (which I kind of like, but don't use).

I'm not a Mac guy, and I'm not sure if this is quite what you're looking for, but I really like Google's Picasa.

Are you planning on putting up all 80k or just the couple of hundred interesting ones? If it's the former, good luck!

I'm mainly Mac based and I've got galleries here, there and everywhere on the web. The main (free) commercial sites I keep using are Photobucket (easy to link to), Flickr (fidely interface but loads of space so you can upload large files) and Photobox (mainly used for work but easy to create galleries in their pro section). I've tried jalbum and abandoned it - for no reason other than I used the others more. There are loads of others and I'm sure other contributors will have their favourites.

Depending how important all of this is to you you could consider doing it yourself. I've got my own web space (rented from 1&1) hosting about half a dozen sites but that costs money and requires a lot more work to set up a gallery. Up till a few years ago I used a French programme, "Galerie" to organise many of my online albums and before that I seem to remember a similar function in iPhoto.

Thanks - I have my own website and space - so not interested in freebie google, facebutt, flickr etc

I want to be able to do everything on my Mac and then sftp up to my website.

Using my own webspace I've tried a couple of routes - firstly, making it as I went along in Dreamweaver. That kind of works but it's an exercise in frustration if you don't know the programme that well (which I don't).

The second route I've used is to acquire a suitable template and base the site on that. Photogallery templates are everywhere on the web, with simple ones available free and money having to change hands for the more complicated ones aimed at commercial users. Again, the ones I've used need something like Dreamweaver to edit although you can get ones that work with Photoshop - which you say you've got. You'll need it anyway to get the file sizes down.

I use Galleria Galleria – Responsive JavaScript Image Gallery on my site. Its free:-)) and works AOK for me.
