Veho Muvi Action camera and some footage

hi guys,

i bought myself one of these little action camcorders...the Muvi from Veho is tiny and offers 640-480 at 25-30fps...with an 8 GB SD card you can store up to 4 hours of footage and the battery last 2-3 hours...
the cost is RRP 79.99 but i got mine from the BTshop at £50 + £10 for the sport pack (which offers several mounts etc.) and i also bought a fast Class 6 micro SD 8GB card rather than using the slow 2 GB one which came with the camera.

the mounting on the helmet i find works best...least amount of vibration and good field of vision vs...mounted on the bike! i have to find a solution for the wind noise...

anyway, the youtube vids are slighlty worst quality than the raw recorded footage..

next week i will be in snowdonia - attending a Buell off-road weekend using theirs Uly's to play!!!

I have one of these and it takes pretty good video on the move, but the audio is not good enough to pick up any sort of commentary. Mine was branded the Muvi Turin and does 640x480 at 21fps, but I understand that other models now do a widescreen format and a higher frame rate (although that's also affected by the SD card). In general, I'm pleased with it, but it does have a stupid misfeature that you have to press the 'stop' button to save the video properly - if you forget and just switch it off or if the battery runs flat, you'll probably lose the recording entirely, or if you're lucky, you get video that plays back at the wrong speed with unsynchronized audio.

Still, it's amazing how well it does given its tiny size, and it's hard to beat for the price.
