TrekPod
Anyone using a TrekPod Go?
Lightweight, Travel Monopod Tripod Combination | TrekPods | Trek-Tech It is a combined tripod, monopod, and walking stick. Collapses to 23". I like the additional use as a walking stick (my knees are not what they could be). I do not like that the legs are not adjustable, thus requiring either a level surface or use as a monopod. Also expensive. Thoughts? |

That's gonna be a poor tripod with the legs so far down. I'd save me pennies for a decent walking stick (if that's your primary requirement) and a Gorillapod for the camera. As with many tools that try to be more than one thing, this could well end up being neither.

I use the Tracks monopod/walking stick (the Sherlite if I recall correctly) and really like it. It doesn't collapse far enough for motorbike travel but from their website I see they do a compact version as well:
Tracks Travel Staffs No tripod though...
