Man You work in IT in India and don't have a CAM??

Dude, un believable ,
High time for you to get a cam. That tooo seeing the rides that you do It would be a pity not to take photos.

The last time I went on a smallish ride(Weekend ~250KMS) my friends kept shouting at me and then eventually waited for me at the end hotel as I stopped every 500 meters for a PIC.

Sometimes i wonder wether I ride to take photos , or I take photos to remember the ride. :-)

Western China Pics and Video

Fairly comprehensive pics of some truly wild places from the Tibetan and Qinghai plateaus to the Taklamakan Desert, Silk Road, Ancient cities n' stuff. Some of the landscapes have never been photographed before.

All photos are coordinate geo-tagged and map browsable. It's a good site and will soon be rolled into Google Earth, if you have interest in geo-tagging your images, Panoramio is a great place to share them.

The Road to Rio.

My website

Photography has been nothing special lately. Hoping to improve as I`m leaving Quito soon. Any comments on what to make them more interesting are welcome as I`m new to it all. Enjoying the satisfaction of a good shot though

Well, I've some pics on my website too. Go to "Ridereports" and choose a report. Sorry, most of'em in German only, but...ey, we're in the photo-forum here, right!? So it's anyway about the pics and not the words;-)

Some photos of Sri Lanka a few years ago, complete with night time game drive on a motorbike (photos are not mine, but by Bill Roughton who now runs a tour company).

Jarax, stunning pics! Jeez, really gives you a bout of fernweh...

I've got a few questions:
- I saw you riding with a GPS. Would you share the tracks?
- How did you and your bikes get there? Did you fly / take the Trans Sib / ride all the way?
- Which road maps did you use?

Hans

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive.
