Canon A-series mains adapter polarity
 

Hi,

We just bought a Canon A80. It has a socket which can be connected to a 4.5V power supply. Of course, Canon say to use only Canon batteries and mains adapter. http://www.horizonsunlimited.com/ubb/smile.gif

My Q: can anybody tell which way around the plug needs to be wired? + inside or out?

Perhaps somebody has a Canon mains adapter and can find out?

I'd like to know before I connect it...

I can now answer my own question: centre pin is positive. Seems to be that way with most cameras.
