A neat little printer
 

On the couple of occasions we've ridden in India we've found ourselves taking photos of the children and then showing them on screen. For xmas I was given a small portable printer which prints photos about 2" by 3". It connects to a camera by cable or to a camera phone with blue tooth. Seems a reaonable alternative to giving out sweets or pens the next time we're away.

I've been looking for a small printer for a while, which one is it your talking about?

It's called a Polaroid PoGo and it prints excellent photos. Ideal for the use I mentioned above.

I was looking at those, they seem very good value for money and the media costs are not great, good to hear your comments.

It could also be useful for somebody who likes to journal in a notebook or for making your own picture postcards to send home. The youtube videos show the prints with a peel off backing which makes them a sticker.

Canon pixma range for me - 6"x4" prints on a dye sublimation basis so it never fades and is water resistant. I find that you need to print them a lighter than shot on camera. They do a rechargeable battery range too.

Negatives are that they require a specific paper and print ribon which is fairly bulky.
