disposable bike bag for flying?

I've just coming to the end of a great six weeks in Spain with a bicycle. I flew in via easyjet with my bike in a proper bike bag and will be taking it home to Belfast this friday the same way. The bike bag has been a real pain to store and has required use of a car to and from each airport. Anybody any clever thoughts on flying into an airport using some bike packaging cheap enough to throw away? Alternatively is there any way of cheaply storing a bike bag at most airports?

box

Hi, when I flew to Uganda with a bike to use then leave there for a orphanage I just went into a bike shop in the UK and asked for some of the boxes that new bikes come in. They normally have loads they have to get rid of. When I landed people were more than happy to take the box off my hands.

I flew my bike to Bangkok in a cardboard bike box for the local bike shop, I binned it in BKK and picked up another locally to fly it back, worked a treat.

Thanks for the replies - I'm probably going to go for the cardboard bike box approach next time but, despite the expense, I've decided to invest a massive £7.03p on the ctc plastic bike bag as mentioned by dmitrij.
I don't know where I'm going this year but, when I've been, I'll report back.

thanks again
