Hi Jim
Welcome to the Elefant world. There is a huge worldwide following of Fants with a yearly meets in Europe (10th this year in Italy) and owners club and worldwide forums.
Ive been riding/touring on Fants for 6 years now and find them unrivaled by any other bike in all round use and affordabillty!
Start at cagivaelefant.com for links to loads of other worldwide sites where you can contact loads of other owners full of tips & info

Hi Jim, if you are still here. the Elefant is a beast of a bike, I even have a few myself! They are actually a lot better to work on than most hubbers will give them credit for, they just have the punishing Ducati service interval. On the plus side they also have superb ducati engine characteristics and 'amusing' ducati gearboxes...

Hope the bike is working out well for you!

No I didn't! Doubt I'll have finished the 650 by then but I might have the 750 up and running. You going? I guess the details are in one of the EAB e-mails that I generally dont read anymore

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
