Enfield front tyre question

Can anyone tell me if it would be possible to put a rear tyre on to the front wheel of an Enfield Bullet so that my bike would have two chunky tyres for some rough road riding? Cheers.

I am currently carrying two off-road tyres on my Enfield. I am headed for South Africa so will swap them for the road tyres when the road tyres wear out.

They are both the same size/spec. So yes, or I have carried two rear tyres down through France for nothing...

Just seen your web diary Doug, brilliant! Just planning my own little Bullet adventure now so will be following your story and using some of your ( a lot of your ) knowledge in the build up to it.

Safe riding,
Ben

Hey, nice one! It's turning out to be a great adventure bike, the bullet. People seem to empathise with your struggle and lend a helping hand

where are you off to?

by the way I am getting 87.5 mpg, if I keep that figure up it makes for a cheap trip!
