Aprilia Tuareg 600

Has anybody got an opinion to offer on the Aprilia Tuareg 600 wind (1991)?

I've just found one at a reasonable price, and was thinking of buying it to use on tarmac while my Tenere is being spruced up.
The rear suspension seems VERY stiff in comparison with the Yamaha - maybe the previous owner has wound up the pre-load or maybe the shock is broken??

Appreciate your views on this bike

Thanks
neil

Do you know where I could get a tank? I'm building a Rotax powered bike and the Tuareg tank would work well for me.
Sorry about being off topic.

Hi,

I am owner of a Pegaso Cube a little different from yours except for the engine, well in a motorcycle magazine ApriliaTuareg 600 was compared with Kawasaki Tengai and the final score was substantial the same for both, Tuareg more suitable for off road, Tengai more turistic., if you suspect the suspension is broken, there are several Aprilia Forum, try with Google, if it's really broken, try to buy a new one one with ebay there are many seller from Germany

Ciao
