Truck Tyre Dealers and Prices

Hi All.

Can anybody post a link to a tyre company? Ive searched the net in vein in an attempt to get a rough price with no luck. The only prices I can get are for vans or cars....guess the companies know truck tyres are that much more pricey, they dont want to post their prices to remain competitive!

Im after 8 new tyres, 12R 22.5, preferably a make like Firestone or Kingstone....but Michellin or Goodyear no worries. Preferably not Pirelli, had more blow outs with Pirelli than any other brand in the past.

Any help much appreciated.

You're welcome.
I'm sure there's got to be others around though.

As a long term fan of Costco the wholesale type warehouse, they do Michelins at a good price for cars vans etc. They did quote me for 395/85R20, but having never actually supplied those specific ones I wonder if they could having heard at one point that all Michelins output destined for the UK were aimed at one big customer, making smaller personal supply difficult. They do regularly supply truck tyres in the Thurrock store, but don't fit them. Depends how cheap I suppose, as well as the joining/eligibility hassle. Fabulous chocolate muffins though, always an important consideration when buying tyres

Just bought 6 x 12R 22.5's (KINGSTONE brand) for £164 pounds each with vat on top of that. By far the cheapest I found. Brand new, not re-treads.

If you want the contact drop me a mail.

What did they quote you?
A Costco in the States would look at you like you were a unicorn if you asked about 395s.

Just over £900 I think.

I worked in Costco when it opened in the UK in 1993, so know that it being on their system doesn't mean they definitely can supply, or will chase too hard if I ask them too. They do a discount on Michelins from time to time, so it would have to be during one of those periods!

As long as 2nd hand ones are available when I need them I won't be buying new any time soon though!

AW Vass for me as well.
Just had a quote for 255/100 x16 XZL michelins. 150 pounds a tyre + vat + transport costs.
Seems normal price for the tyre.
