I didn't know you were still there, we could have hooked up, I just got back from Yakutsk on Monday...

[EDIT] Also, I wouldn't curse DHL too loudly, they may have done the right thing; as far as I know, it can takes weeks to get things out of Moscow customs, and you got it out of Vladi customs in one day, so even with the infrequent flights to Yakustk from there you might have come out ahead...maybe...

Yes.
On SibEx we met Hannes from Finland in Irkutsk who also spent several weeks stranded, waiting for a used spare shock absorber for his Africa Twin (I think) his Father had sent via DHL from his home in a neighbouring country. I believe it was customs that took that time.
