Vlad here we come

We left London today and are on our way. Only 90 days to go before we plan on getting to Vlad. Anyone else on the road at the moment????

Let me know. Perhaps we can meet up.

Well, I'm going that way too ... but am only taking off two weeks from now. You guys have a head start, so it might be hard to meet up. Anyway, never say never, so if you spot a Ural combination with a Belgian plate ... that'll be me.
Take care and have fun.

Best regards,
Dom

We met Ken and Toni yesterday in south-eastern Poland. We spend an interesting evening together. They took part in meeting of polish Africa Twin Community. We didn`t expected them, they didn`t expect to meet us. But the world is so small. Ken and Toni are in good condition and traveling without any problem. They will cross Ukrainian border tommorow (or they have done it today)...

Polish African Twin Community

We are indebted to the Polish ATC. Toni and I were so pleased that we stopped to ask for directions from a group of bikers in Southern Poland. It turned out to be a gathering of the Polish African Twin Community and although we had old BMW's they showed us some great hospitality with free accommodation, dinner and breakfast, plus a bit of local advice.

Thanks guys.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
