Hallo!
I like Know if the border between UZ-KA to Chernyaevka ( Zhibek Zholy/Gisht Koprik ) on the way Taskent/Shymkent is open.

Yes its open to internationals, but its a busy border - the main crossing between UZ and KZ ... expect to be there 4 hours

Are there any opening hours at border crossing zhibek zholy ?

thanks for the info. Actually do you know, if the broder is open 24/7 or just open from 7am-9pm?
It would be cool, if you could update me, because I am planning to cross the border at 22:30 or something like this.

I dont know, as I have not been there at night, but as it is such a major crossing it would not surprise me it if was a 24 hour crossing.

Hey colebatch, thnaks for your info. Probably someone else has the opening hours for sure. Moreover I try to call the UZ embassy next week...
