Torug Art pass - KG transport between posts?
Hi there,
A quick question re passing through the Torug Art pass from Kyrgyzstan to Xinjiang. I have my Chinese escort arranged to meet me on the Chinese side (hopefully), but as a motorcyclist, do you need a Kygyz vehicle escort between the check posts? One with the required permit. I've just asked a tour agency in Bishkek, Celestrial Mountains, and they say Yes ($130, thank you very much). I suspect this is the case, but just want to make sure before handing over the readies.
