Sharing a container from South Korea to Canada

Hi,

Just a bit of a cross post. As per the thread below, I am looking to share a container from South Korea to Canada late August/early September.

Hi craig.

We have a Volkwagen buggy that we are looking to ship (if we can get her fixed in Uzbeckistan to continue to Mongolia) Our planned date of arrival was late august in Ulan bator with myself driving onto Vladivostok and then get it to somewhere which is cheaper to ship (japan or korea) , if you were interested in this we would happily look at sharing the costs. The buggy is a volkswagen beetle in essence so around that kind of size!

What kind of price is shipping container at present?

Kindest Regards

Paul

I am still waiting on prices for everything.

I have another couple ahead of me chasing the same thing. We are trying to get enough numbers at the moment.

They are actually on the ferry to Dong Hae today and will muck about SK for a while.

They are also on the HUBB so hopefully some further info in the next week.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
