Selling my car in Vladivostok

Hi,

I will buy a Range Rover (ca. 1998 model; € 5.000 range) in the next days and drive off from Switzerland, arriving in Vladivistok latest in the first week of July.

Does someone on the HUBB have a contact to a potential buyer in Vladivostok?

Is it legally/technically possible for me to give the car to another European tourist, who returns it from Vladivostok to Europe? (Anyone interested on the HUBB?)

I can still decide between a Diesel or Petrol model. Any advice on what works/sells better in Siberia?

P.S.: I am not trying to make a profit with the car. Just want to leave Russia with clean papers - and minimise the travel cost.

Hi, you can not sell you car legally in Russia. You must pay customs duties which are enormous now. As far as I know if you will not take your temporary imported car out of Russia you wil not get Russian visa next time.
