Russia, Khabarovsk,

I have traveled the Silk Road, and am still in Kazakhstan. I will go tomorrow from Omsk to Khabarovsk. I urgently need the address or an email address of the local motorcycle club. Can someone help me?

Thumbs up

Hartmut,

you are not going to travel from Omsk to Khabarovsk in one day, but you know that.

If you arrive in a new town in Russia, just ask a local biker for the clubhouse of the local motorcycle club, he will for sure take you there ... or stop at a bike shop and ask the people.

Sorry I cant give you any email addresses. In Khabarovsk ask for the Amur Lynx (Amur Luchse) ... the other names I dont remember anymore ... I am getting old ;-)

Ulan Ude - Opposite Bike Club. (Near railway line, next to supermarket on south side)

Mogocha - Iron Angels. Just ride down the "main" street, they will find you.

Not sure about Khabarovsk, I had a contact there via Главная - Folks МС (Vlad based)

Say hello to Andrey when you get the tyres (I am guessing it will be him in Ussurisky :-) )

"Lynx of Amur" this is oldest bike place in Khabarovsk. Many travelers know them. Friendly and useful place. Recommended.

Omsk etc

Hartmut ...
Bernd sometimes has quite some stress

So, why not check his homepage, if you have the time and (internet) connection?

Maybe this is the one you need (???):

welt-tour.com - Russland 2

or use the main page:

welt-tour.com - Reisetagebuch Panamericana

There is lots of info there. And if or when you come to Japan, please let us know!!!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
