I have not done it personally recently, but don't see why you couldn't cross, and have not seen any reports here about any problems.

Hi,

I crossed from Ukraine to Russia early August 2015 on M02 / E 101 at Bachivsk/Troyebortnoye. No problems. I suppose the other way around is the same.

Safe ride,
Adrian

I like all the internal border crossings they have ... for Crimea et al. Seems to confirm the Russian border website which also says there is a working border between Crimea and Ukraine proper. Still dont know any foreign bikers who have crossed there yet.

We crossed that border twice in july, in north ukraine. The situation looked normal, people crossing in both directions.

Just make sure you use an international border crossing, see the website mentioned in tis thread.

Crossed from Russia, Zheleznogorsk, into Ukraine last week. Absolutely no problem.

It was much more difficult and crowded at the Ukraine-Hungary border, but with a bike we were able to cross that one relatively fast too.

That means the border at Troyebortnoye / Bachivsk. Put it in Google Maps to see where it is.

In July we have used small border crossing on E38.

No queues, friendly staff (nevertheless they were quite detailed in customs/security checks).
