Hi Arun, please see my post in your other thread.

I will be taking the Dong Chun car ferry from Sokcho the day after I collect my bike in Busan. In my experience, obtaining customs clearance for your vehicle when it arrives on a car ferry WITH YOU, is much easier than when it travels independently - for al intents and purposes it should be pretty much like a regular land to land border crossing. I expect this to be a very straightforward procedure taking no more than a couple of hours at most. I'll let you know how it goes when I complete it.

Garry from Oz.

Last year a ferry company employee, I think his name was Sergi (what else?) helped us.

$100 US cash for the full service. It took about 2 hours (The man was a very slow typist). We just sat around in his office drinking endless cups of tea and eating biscuits).

Zarubino is a very sleepy port town. Don't worry, someone will help you.

Don't worry.

Cheers.

There was a post on here a week or so ago saying that the ferry to Zarubino is not running at the moment because of disputes with port fees etc...

Have they resolved this now? Is the ferry going there again or just going to Vlad still??

Ferry to Zarubino is running again but only on Mondays.

All times are GMT +1. The time now is 17:01.
