that's why I'll do it in 4 months... I honestly that 2 is to short, but then if you go straight instead of what I will do (see above) then it's less mileage and thus better possible... but less interesting I think... ;-)

It is possible, however not advisable, you are going to have to ride every day... In Russia it is possible to cover 1000 or + km a day.
However, in Mongolia even if you ride all day you will make only about 200km on average (where are the bloody road in this country...). My advise: plan to take some time in the Altai and Kirgistan. Best place of the whole trip!

I will leave to Ulanbataar at June 25th 2013.
My way ist Rumania, Ukraine, Russia, Kazachstan, Russia, Mongolia. The way back i am not 100 % sure yet which route to take. maybe wi will meet in Ulanbataar for a Beer
