Torugart (Kyrgyzstan) to Nepal September 2020 (China crossing)

Hello all,

we are two German boys on motorbikes who are going to cross China from Kyrgyzstan to Nepal in September 2020. We are already in discussion with travel agencies. The price per person is strongly linked to the group size, sth in-between 1,5k€ (6 persons) and 3,5k€ (2 persons).
So if you are interested to join us or are looking for somebody to join you, here we go.

Looking forward to hear from you guys
Alex

Kyrgyzstan to Nepal September 2020

Hi Alex,

that`s very interesting, cause I am planning exactly to cross China from Torugat to Nepal in August or early September 2020. I`m driving alone with a Land Rover Defender. Therefore it`s no problem to take the guide. How long would you like to stay in China/Tibet. I found 10 day to 18 day tours.

looking forward to hear from you soon...

Warmly Frank

Hello Frank,

great, this sounds like a match! We were planning 10-15days, which is confirmed to be feasible by a couple of agencies. I can share my available information with you if you are interested. I just sent you a message via mail, hope it arrived.

Hi Alex
sorry I cannot join your trip but I am contacting you as I am planning more or less the same trip as you but in the opposite direction from Lao to Torugart through Tibet. I am looking for Agencies to help me and was wondering if you could give me some contacts about the ones you found the most reliable. I must say that it is a bit tough to get precise and reliable informations. Thanks a lot in advance and wish you can find fellow travellers
Yan

Hi Yan,

I am not able to state sth about reliability of the agencies I am talking to, since it still is on a theoretical basis, but you can try to get in contact with:
- tibetmoto
- himalayanheroes
- tibet-tours
- kashgarsilkroad
- navo tours
There are quite a few more, also listed somewhere here. Just search for travel agencies in the search field and you should get results

hope this helps and good luck!

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
