Kazhakstan, forbidden areas?

Just a small question.

I am planing to go the southern route in Kazhakstan ( yes I know, bad roads )

I heard, that there are forbidden areas for travelers like baikonuur and some other areas.

Is this true or just gossip?

If you stay on the Highway there are no problems.

The new road through there is supposed to be finished this year so maybe you will get to ride on some good road.

any prohibited areas will be fenced off.

In Kazakhstan, there are none on the highways, or any normal roads.

I found warnings on the homepage of the austrian embassy service, that there are forbidden areas, thats why i was asking
