Info needed on leaving my motorcycle in japan whilst i quickly return to the Uk

I'd like to leaving my bike in japan for two weeks whilst i quickly return to the Uk to get a work visa (for Japan). What do i roughly need to do to show that i'm not merely dumping the bike. Ideally i'm hoping to store the bike with a motorbike shop and so i'm sure a letter from them would be enough, but i could be overlooking something.

thanks for your time

You shouldn't need to to anything. Your carnet is the guarantee.
Also, customs and immigration are separate organizations. At the airport, you don't go through customs leaving. In occasion customs at the ferry port have put a stamp in the passport. But I never heard of that being an issue with immigration (passport control), even when people leave before their shipping company has completed export customs procedures.
