Down the street from the American embassy is the Kyobo building. Look across and a bit of an angle. You see a small street cutting away at about a 45. follow that street up and turn on the second side street. You will find several places that are reallly cheap and two of them will allow your bike to park in middle.

If 30 bucks a night is not out of reach, there are hundreds, no thousands of yogwans. The one we stay at is up on chongno, near chongno 5. contact me for more info if interested in the pricier places.

Hi Parko,

Well, if you are on Chongno, you are close to the #1 subway line. If you have nothing to do for the next 6 days until next Thursday, come on down and visit. By subway, get on the train headed for Cheonan. The signs in the subway station will direct you. Get off 2 hours later at Dujeong station and call me at 041-564-5674 and I will come get you. If you are riding, Go east on Chongno until you come to Tongdaemun. You can't miss it. It's that big gateway from 700 years ago. Turn right and follow the signs to Hannam Bridge. Cross the bridge, go straight until you come to highway 47 turn right. Follow that to the big intersection and turn left. You will have already passed Costco on the way.
Then just follow that road, looking for the signs saying (blue circle) highway 1. Get onto highway 1 turning left and stay there until you get to Cheonan. Call and I wll come get you. Better yet, call me the day before and we will set up a meeting spot and I will ride up and lead you down. We can visit some of the touristy spots and traditional restaurants.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
