Getting rid of the car in Bishkek

Hello everyone,

in the beginning of august I am coming from Europe to Bishkek with my car. Bishkek is our last stop, from there we are planning to leave the country by air, but before that we need to get rid of our car. I understand that it would be impossible to sell it, because of the high custom fee. On this page (On-line калькулятор) we calculated that customs fee would be more than 6000$ so we won't be able to sell the car.

Because of that we are searching for alternative ways to get rid of the car. If anybody have any suggestion how to get rid of the car, please help us!

Details on the car:
Model: Ssangyong Musso
Build Year: 1999
Engine: 2.9TD
200,000 kilometres

You could try the 'Nomads Guesthouse/home' they will allow you to leave your vehicle here for a monthly fee.

Sambor thanks again for your reply! I can not send you more PMs, because I don't have enough posts on this forum. Can you please send your email adress to my PM, so we can communicate by mail?

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
