Getting a bike in the "Stans"

Hi,

does anyone know anything about getting a bike in the "Stans"? Rental or for sales? Both are welcome.

Does anybody have an idea of the cost?

Do we need a local driving license or an international driving license will do the job?

Is insurance expensive?

Can all the paper work be done easily?

If yes, how long would it take to just get it done and hit the road?

Thanks for any information.

I don't have first hand experience with them, but I know that SilkoffRoad Tours does rental.
It seems that many tour companies use them, so I assume that they are fairly reliable.
